Job Description:
Minimum 1 year of experience in Road Freight operations is mandatory.
Position Summary:
• Organize Trucking shipments (Import, Export, LTL, FTL, express deliveries) in order to maintain communication with clients
• Manage relationship with carriers, agents and local partners
Responsibilities:
• Daily management and coordination of Road Freight shipments
• Track and trace all shipments and permanent communication with clients
• Update and maintain Transportation data base
• Proactive identify problems and swiftly implement the appropriate solution
• Work closely with partners to ensure efficient and effective execution of freight forwarding processes
• Re-route freight as needed to meet demands and minimize costs
• Provide support to other Logistics Teams as needed & interact with other departments to respond to their needs
• Perform other duties as request or assigned by the Manager
• Develop clients and carriers portfolio of company
• Provide regular written status reports to management and clients
Requirements:
• Knowing very well the trucking market, costs and specific documentation
• Good verbal and writing communication skills
• Proficiency with MS Office applications, Internet, Outlook
• English language – any other foreign language in plus will be a great advantage
• Customer care oriented
